On Friday, November 14, nine Hauser students participated in the fourth annual WSCAE Student Leadership Conference. The workshop took place at Hodgkins Park District in collaboration with 14 other school districts from the West Suburban Consortium for Academic Excellence.
73 high school students from Oak Park and River Forest High School facilitated the workshop with over 130 middle school participants. Thank you to OPRF and their student leaders for supporting this conference and mentoring the next generation of leaders.
Activities focused on communication, collaboration, and problem-solving. Students were encouraged to be good listeners, open-minded, and have fun. It was a great day to be a leader! Watch the video highlights here.
Congratulations to Eric D, Johnny F, Katie F, Lucy H, Sam K, Anna L, Collin M, Makaila M, and Harper W.
