Coming back from break can be difficult, but Hauser staff made the return from Thanksgiving fun with an underground spirit week! From pajama day to Wicked Wednesday, dress like a middle schooler to anything but a cup, staff had a great time with this secret! Students, keep your eyes open! This week, 8th-grade Spanish students had the opportunity to visit Pilsen. They walked the neighborhood looking at the murals painted on buildings, visiting a bakery, enjoying lunch, and learning about the Day of the Dead at the National Museum of Mexican Art.
Esta semana, los estudiantes de español de octavo grado tuvieron la oportunidad de visitar Pilsen. Caminaron por el vecindario, observaron los murales pintados en los edificios, visitaron una panadería, disfrutaron de un almuerzo y aprendieron sobre el Día de los Muertos en el Museo Nacional de Arte Mexicano.
Just a reminder that Halloween costumes, face paint, masks, wigs, hats, etc. are not allowed at Hauser. It will be a regular day of school for Hauser students.
